Increase ignore list?
Considering the amount of griefers and basically annoying people seems to grow exponentially, I propose the implementation of a higher maximum amount of people we can ignore. Cause nowadays, 10 will definitely not cut it, as i seem to find myself constantly removing old people and replacing them with fresh new annoyances. It's come to the point where, just trying to do the ring of fire mission, I've already added 4 lucky people to the ignore list. Just goes to show the sad state of social interaction within gw.

Agreed, however, they should make the ignore list completely client-side as a ignore.txt file (or whatever other name), where you put all the people you want to ignore on it. That way, it has infinite size. The client then simply does not display any lines of text written by those players. Currently the ignore list is server-side, but by making it client-side, disk space simply becomes irrelevant.
Also, ignoring someone should mute them in all chat channels too, not just PM's. Finally, it shouldn't tell the person that he/she's been ignored.

Client-side won't work, because people are always deleting characters. It's WAY easier for the server to do this than it is for us to do it. What is needed is the ability to have inclusion based ignoring instead of exclusion based ignoring. Inclusion ignoring means you ignore anyone not in your list of acceptable users. Exclusion is the opposite.

I agree with this part but i mean, maybe its partly your fault and your attitude towards others in game which is causing your ignore list to grow..
I don't know you but i've never had a problem with having to ignore anyone let alone 4 people are you sure its not just you..?
Personally i'd rather Anet worked on improving the main features of the game and adding more rather than lil things like this..

10 is the limit? I never knew that. My ignore list has reached its 40s, sad to say...
I just add them to my friends list, drop down the menu on their names, and add them to ignore list.
